Zewlan Moor

Zewlan (pronounced “SHOO-len”) Moor is a Filipino-Australian author, medical doctor, and bibliotherapist who writes playful books for today’s savvy kids. Her books are sometimes multi-layered, with a quirky sense of humor and light touch that belies their serious intent and preoccupation with social justice for all. Other times they're just fun! A long time ago, Zewlan wrote a thesis comparing Harry Potter to Lyra Belacqua. Now, living on the land of the Yugambeh people at the Gold Coast, Australia, she still prefers books and boardgames to the beach.
