Susan Bishop Crispell

Born and raised in the mountains of Tennessee, Susan Bishop Crispell spent twenty years in coastal North Carolina before moving to Scotland with her husband and their cats, Whisky and Orkney. Susan earned a BFA in creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is the author of the women’s fiction novels, The Secret Ingredient of Wishes and Dreaming in Chocolate, which was selected as a Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance (SIBA) Okra Pick in Winter 2018, and young adult novels, The Holloway Girls and The Broken Hearts Club. She is very fond of baked goods and is always on the lookout for hints of magic in the real world.
