Shari Becker

Shari Becker is a critically acclaimed novelist and picture book author who has been writing and creating content for children and teens for over 25 years. Her books include Sprouting Wings and the upcoming Taking Turns with Turtles, and her honors include multiple selections by the Junior Library Guild, along with recognition on Bank Street’s Best Books list. Shari holds an MA from New York University and began her career at Nickelodeon and Disney-owned properties. She is the founder of Whale Rock Literary Workshops, a master-level writing education company for children’s authors.
