Max Fischer

Max Fischer is a transgender Pushcart Prize-nominated poet and nonfiction author who holds an MFA in writing for children and young adults. His stories focus on queer joy told through the lens of unconventional narrative structures and the merging of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction.

When not writing, he works as a neurodivergent support specialist, creating accessible learning environments and study toolkits at the university-level. In his free time, you can find him playing Pokémon GO or Spiritfarer with his menace of a cat at his side, Ester Lint Scribbles The First.
